IMG Academy fires director involved in college admissions scam

The crackerjack test-taker who allegedly helped the children of rich parents cheat on standardized tests as parts of a national college admissions scam, has been fired from his job at IMG Academy, according to a school official.

Mark Riddell, 36, who lives in Palmetto, was suspended indefinitely by IMG Academy shortly after the former director of college entrance exam preparation was charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
